I bought this for my little greatgranddaughter and it was a terrific hit. It was purchased in September and she wore it for dressup through Halloween when it became her costume. It seemed a bit pricey, but it was durable and held up well. I love the photos of her as a true superhero.

Most costumes I've found at this price point are cheaply made from cheap materials. This Supergirl costume was a pleasant surprise. The colors are vivid and rich and the fabric is actually fairly sturdy and nice. The blue bodice is a medium weight, stretchy velveteen, and the skirt and attached cape are a substantial sort of glossy, metallic red fabric. I bought it for my tall (34 inches) but thin (26 pounds) 18 month old daughter for Halloween, and it actually fit her really well, other than the belt, which was too big, but I easily fixed that with some velcro strips. And it still fits her now that she's grown an inch and gained 2 pounds, because of the stretchy velvet, I think. The only thing that is not great are the boot covers, which my daughter refuses to wear because they slide around on her legs and foot in an annoying way that can make her trip. Even after Halloween, she still likes to play dress up in her Supergirl costume.

We bought this for our <2 year old daughter (who is tall for her age). Everything but the "boots" fit perfectly, and even those were still wearable. Simply put, everything looks great. The colors are vibrant (the blue of the suit is a very nice faux-silk sheen), and the quality is quite good. The "S" symbol is an actual patch, and there is even a belt that goes around the waist. Another nice thing about it is that it is a great departure from the wide array of Princess/Disney costumes that little girls seem stuck with. Other girls in our neighborhood were amazed at it, and some of the boys (all dressed as superheroes themselves) were very impressed. My daughter was the toast of the neighborhood, and was so comfortable in it that she not only loved running around, but ended up napping in it. Up to and including Halloween she wore it on three separate, high energy occasions for costume parties, and it held up very well. We only had a few loose threads by the end, nothing major. If she can squeeze into it, she may well wear it again next year.

Ordered for my daughter's Halloween costume and it fit perfect, she wears a size 4T. She loved it and wore it all day long. It was a lot better quality than any store costume! the only things that bothered me were that the belt kept riding up so I wish there were loops or something to keep it in place, the "boots" or shoe covers were a little big and kept scrunching down, and I wish that it would've come with some type of bloomer to go underneath the skirt. Other than that it was what I wanted and well worth the buy.

My little girl is two and I wanted to buy her something for Halloween that had a cape, because she has been going around the house with a blanket on her back going Ta-Da to everyone. So supergirl was the perfect answer. After I read the reviews, I thought I would give it a chance. It is well worth it. It is durable and fun and I would recomend it to everyone.
